WIndrose at Weymouth Holds Grand Re-Opening Ceremony Celebrating New Management Under LCB Senior Living

On March 8th, Windrose at Weymouth (www.windroseweymouth.com), managed by LCB Senior Living and located at 670 Main Street in South Weymouth, MA, held a grand re-opening ceremony celebrating the community’s new ownership by Focus Healthcare Partners and new management and renovation under LCB.

Windrose at Weymouth offers the area’s finest memory care assisted living for seniors.

Over 60 attendees gathered at the event, including LCB associates from the company home office and several of their communities, associates from local senior living and care providers, community investors, local media and town and state officials.  Food and refreshments were served by chefs and culinary staff from several LCB communities, and a local saxophonist provided live music throughout the event.  The ceremony featured several speakers, including State Rep. James Murphy, State Senator Patrick O’ Connor’s Chief of Staff Gregory Denton, President of LCB Senior Living Stephen Puliafico, and Windrose at Weymouth Executive Director Susan Sheehan. The event concluded with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to signify the official re-opening and new management of the community.

LCB’s Reflections Memory Care program is a mindful and non-pharmacological approach to promoting dignity and quality of life for older adults with memory challenges, through compassionate care and a focus on the person, not the disease.  Through varied and carefully planned programs, Reflections supports and enriches the experiences that residents have on a daily basis.  They are encouraged them to be active members of society, to be independent, to express themselves through therapeutic engagement, and to flourish.

In addition to offering sophisticated cognitive programming and a range of daily services, Reflections is a secure, safe environment with its own common areas, walking courtyard, and other amenities.  All programming was developed in collaboration with the Harvard Medical School, McLean Hospital and Brigham & Women’s Hospital.

LCB Senior Living was founded in 2010 by CEO Michael Stoller and President Stephen Puliafico. Headquartered in Norwood, MA, LCB currently operates 22 communities throughout New England, and is developing several more.
